Southcombe Barn, Art Gallery, is pleased to announce that they will be welcoming Milly Brown and Becky Dodman Wainwright on a week-long artists residency this August. Exploring place, spirit, and divination by immersing themselves in the cultivated and wild spaces in and around the barn, they will work collaboratively on research that will inform a joint exhibition, 'A Premonition of this Place', at our gallery in October 2022.

The residency will allow the artists to explore our unique landscapes and examine how past habitations and interventions might help us in divining the future of our physical and metaphysical landscapes.  The residence will also include several outreach workshops that will be announced soon.
